Hand painted yarn 100g. fine mohair laceweight soft rose pink peach
The base yarn for this is a skein of 80% fine mohair from the angora goat, and 20% acrylic.
I hand painted this one in shades of pale pink, with a few touches of peach and medium rose. The last picture gives an idea of the subtle colour blocks, before the yarn was re-skeined.
I would use this one on fairly large needles to create an open, airy fabric - a delicate scarf or shawlette. It is a fine yarn - laceweight but not cobweb. See picture against a 1 inch ruler for better idea of gauge.
