Product Description:

My garden here in France is full of lavender at the moment. It always makes me want to paint it, it's so beautiful.

I kept the colors pale and muted, more like you see on a really hot summers day. The sprigs are constructed in string and then painted in acrylics afterwards.

This work has an incredible amount of texture. This gives this painting another dimension and is not only a feast for the eyes but it is also very tactile.
