Product Description:
This is a Leaded glass window hanger, bordered with segments of blues & greens and the central area is double plated with Iridescent & textural glass. The image is a tree, with the body painted & fired in tracing black at 650 degrees, and the foliage area engraved on the reverse of the top layer.Under different lights and angles the foliage appears at varying intensities.
This is part of the collection I have been working on for the last couple months. Mostly focused on bamboo imagery and pine tree's. The idea occurred to me and this was the first attempt at what I have in mind. I like to make each item different and progress an idea to the next stage, not simply make many of the same. The ultimate goal is there shall be a continual progression of ideas in my glass work, experimenting with ideas & trails with new concepts.
