Made with two fairly well-matched bright yellow Littorina obtusata shells - otherwise known as the yellow periwinkle - these unique silver earrings were handmade using a fine silver bezel on a sterling silver backing. The hooks are sterling silver too. Each earring weighs around 2g and is approximately 3cm in total length (including the hook) . To assist the retention of the shells, I have used a strong jeweller`s epoxy glue as well as the bezel to hold the shells in place. Supplied gift boxed, as shown. Free UK postage!I just love the unnatural looking bright yellowness of these shells which are commonly found around the shores of England. I also like the beautiful spirals of shells.
