Description
A winter border in miniature. An embroidered brooch - hand-stitched on a needle felted background.

<br />Merino wool, silk and mohair fibres have been combined in the felting of the background of this brooch. Planting details - snowdrops, heathers, Christmas roses, conifers and pyrocantha, are added by hand embroidery. The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin securely stitched in place.
