Mini hot water bottle and handspun hand knitted knit cozy cover
<br />This is a special small hot water bottle, measuring 6.5 inches to the shoulder and 5 inches across. The cover adds 0.5 inches, in both directions. I find these miniature bottles invaluable for easing neck pain, stomach cramps or even toothache.
<br />This one has a hand knitted cover in a soft merino and silk yarn - handspun, though not by me this time. The ribbed neck is made from a commercial merino mix yarn. The colours are fairly wild - orange, blue, kingfisher - and overall it has a funky, rustic look.
<br />The cozy is accessed via the stretchy double ribbed neck. This this main body of one was knitted in the round, so no irritating seams.
<br />The rubber hot water bottle itself is a toning orange - a little comfort and warmth to cuddle up to!
