An illustration cut from a vintage childrens dictionary is decoupaged onto chipboard ( sturdy pressed cardboard) ,carefully sanded around the edges, then sealed with a clear acrylic spray finish.
This is a large pin, measuring about 1 7/8 x 3 3/8", with a standard pinback.
