Native Stone and Feather Necklace for Horses by MyBuddyBling

Product Description:

The stone in the pendant I collected in the Canadian Rockies where it was being polished by the action of a melting glacier waterfall. I painted it with symbols used by Pueblo Indians and then preserved the acrylic paint with two coats of clear gloss. The symbol means "The Great Spirit is all around us!"

The blue and yellow feathers are from a molting Blue and Gold Macaw who lives in a bird rescue facility. The large feathers are dark blue on one side and yellow on the other and flash the two colors as the horse moves. There are two smaller feathers and 2 metal feathers secured with twisted copper wire to the large feather.

Black silk and cotton flat cord and a lobster claw catch make up the necklace. 52 inches long. All equine necklaces have a clip for securing the necklace to the base of the mane to prevent it from sliding down your equine buddy's neck.

This listing is for the equine necklace only, and is a OOAK (hand-made one-of-a-kind).
