This sterling silver .925 wire wrapped l necklace features a solid, natural Australian white opal gemstone weighing 3.73 carats. The opal featured is 18mm x 9.5mm in size and is wire wrapped in twisted sterling silver .925 wire.The pendant is 3.6cm (1.41 inches) in length (from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant) and 1.6cm (0.62 inches) in width.
The opal is pear shaped but wire wrapped upside down to promote the flashes of fire that easily capture the light. Hand cut, the opal does feature a tiny small crack of potch toward the lower left side (as seen in photos.) of the opal gemstone which is the only blemish to this otherwise, beautiful white opal. Price of this necklace reflects the small blemish on this opal that is not easily seen unless you are looking very closely at the gemstone as is shown in the close up photos.
