Description
Needle felted Rocky Mountain Horse with chocolate coat color and flaxen mane and tail -- 9 inches tall and 10 inches long, not including tail. He is modeled after our friend's horse Rio in Georgia, who is sweet and sure-footed. Rocky Mountain Horses are friendly and gaited -- they have a smooth slow gait called the single-foot and a faster smooth gait called the rack.

<br />Rio is made with a core of Merino sheep's wool, his top coat is of the softest Alpaca wool, and his mane and tail are from cream Leicester Longwool Rare Breed Sheep locks from Canada. He has a wire armature which allows him to be reposed. His glass eyes are gray and imported from Germany.

<br />This item is to be used only for ornamental purposes - he is sturdy, but is not suitable for rough play. He is not suitable as a gift for a young child.
