This exquisite notebook or journal cover has been handmade from felted pink mohair wool, which has been partly overlaid with cream vintage lace and trimmed with more lace, satin ribbon and pearl buttons. The back features more of the cream lace and ribbon.The cover is softly padded and lined with a pretty cream broderie anglaise fabric. An attached narrow ribbon forms a bookmark.
The cover comes complete with an A6 sketchbook from Seawhite of Brighton. These books are made in Britain using British paper and have 92 pages of acid-free cartridge paper. The book can easily be replaced with a new one when needed, or perhaps with a diary or address book.
It would make a perfect gift, perhaps for Mother's Day, for a bride-to-be, a bridesmaid or special friend. This beautiful cover is a one-of-a-kind piece, totally unique.
The cover measures approx 12 cm x 17 cm closed.
