Product Description:

100grams of hand-dyed soft and silky merino tencel blend sock-weight knitting wool in the deep Ocean Blue colourway, hand-dyed by me in Cornwall, England.

Weight: approx. 100gram (price is per skein)
Yarn: 50% superwash merino wool, 50% tencel
Type: 4ply fingering sock
Length: approx. 333 metres ~ 364 yards
Recommended needle size: 2-3mm
Gentle handwash recommended, as with all hand-dyed yarns.

Merino is the softest wool yarn available. Merino is excellent at regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin. Merino sheep need to be shorn at least once a year because their wool does not stop growing.
Tencel is a natural fiber made from the wood pulp of trees. It is strong but soft, with excellent colour absorption and a wonderful silky drape and sheen.
