Ocean Blue hand dyed merino tencel 4ply yarn
Description
100grams of hand-dyed soft and silky merino tencel blend sock-weight knitting wool in the deep Ocean Blue colourway, hand-dyed by me in Cornwall, England.

<br />Weight: approx. 100gram (price is per skein)
<br />Yarn: 50% superwash merino wool, 50% tencel
<br />Type: 4ply fingering sock
<br />Length: approx. 333 metres ~ 364 yards
<br />Recommended needle size: 2-3mm
<br />Gentle handwash recommended, as with all hand-dyed yarns.
<br />
<br />Merino is the softest wool yarn available. Merino is excellent at regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin. Merino sheep need to be shorn at least once a year because their wool does not stop growing.
<br />Tencel is a natural fiber made from the wood pulp of trees. It is strong but soft, with excellent colour absorption and a wonderful silky drape and sheen.
