Product Description:

For the clasp on this bracelet, I enhanced a couple of old foreign with Vintaj opaque patina inks for a verdigris effect, and riveted them together with a copper rivet (stamped very lightly with the Chinese symbol for happiness). I drew out the sea greens and turquoise colors in the clasp with Czech glass beads, and some openwork copper tube beads treated with traditional verdigris patina. I couldn’t resist adding a few tchochkes: a Czech glass wheel bead in deep orange, a dome-shaped tab of magnesite, one of my new round charms (textured on one side with a 1967 British six pence coin and on the other side with a 1947 British half penny coin), and a couple of textured copper bowls to add interest to the clasp area.
