The pendant focal in this piece was made by Tibetan refugees living in Nepal and completely handcrafted of yak bone. The mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum" is inscribed. The slim pendant (which measures about 2 and 1/4" long) hangs by a wrapped bail of oxidized sterling silver wire, flanked by a silver plated flower, and sterling silver heart, all from a strand of opalite roundels and glossy brown bone spacers punctuated with pewter accent beads and silver plated spacer beads.
