Description
"Orange Sunflower" original acrylic mini painting on 2" x 2" x .5" canvas with magnets on the back so you can hang it on your fridge (or file cabinet!) Perfect to brighten up your kitchen or office.

<br />Sunflowers are endlessly fascinating to me. There is such a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors, that I never get bored painting them!
<br />For this little flower I applied multiple layers of hansa yellow opaque, pyrrole red light and pyrrole red. I used burnt umber light for the shadows and the center of the flower. The bright blue background is phthalo blue (green shade) mixed with a tiny bit of titanium white.

<br />I use only the highest grade, artist quality acrylic paints, gels and mediums from Golden Artist Colors. These materials are archival and meant to last.
