Description
A Pewter Embossed Oriental bird mounted on a black mountboard on a wooden plaque. The bird is the 2nd in a series designed by Di Kaye and embossed by me.

<br />The high relief areas are filled from the back to prevent them from denting
<br />The pewter is patina'd and polished to produce a rich lustre.
<br />The image is cut out by hand, mounted onto black mountboard which is then fitted to a piece of solid oak. Finally the entire piece is sprayed with a clear lacquer to protect both the pewter and the wood. This also eliminates the need for special cleaning processes as all it needs is a wipe down with a soft lint free cloth.
