This up-cycled little red white and blue quilt is fully reversible and has been made from denim jeans and gorgeous checked shirts. I originally envisaged this as a perfect picnic blanket for two, but it also would also be super for little ones as a play mat or throw for a bed.In making this quilt, I recycled two pairs of faded old jeans and four cotton shirts in lovely rich reds and denim blues. Individually quilted patches were sewn together in a checkerboard pattern with the raw edges on one side, creating a beautiful reversible quilt with a smooth side and a frayed side.
