Product Description:

This is a polished, shimmering Ammonite fossil held in sterling silver wire. Pink iridescent lines radiate out from its center. This small pendant really catches your eye as the thin lines of color flash in the light.
These creatures lived in the seas between 240 - 65 million years ago, when they became extinct along with the dinosaurs. The name 'ammonite' (usually lower-case) originates from the Greek Ram-horned god called Ammon.
This is a whole fossil - not cut in half.

It is approximately 1 3/4 inches by 1 inch in size.
