Product Description:

A memory of wood 14 million years old shows in this piece of petrified wood from Saddle Mountain Wa. Around 14 million years ago part of a forest was buried in a volcanic eruption. Today we see the remains of this forest in beautiful pieces of agate found in Eastern Washington. The surface of this piece shows the age rings of the wood and even appears to show the natural cracks that the wood had through its heart. But, its surface is smooth and the "cracks" are just clear agate. It is held in solid sterling silver wire and comes with a 17 inch silver plated chain so it is ready to wear. It measures 2 inch by 1 1/8 inch in size.
