Product Description:
his beautiful pincushion is made using pure merino wool in beautiful vibrant colours and felt.The wool is layered onto the felt with each layer being thoroughly needled into the felt before the next layer is added. The background is done first in layers and then the flowers and butterflies are added. Each of these is also made in layers to build the texture of the picture and ensure it stays in place.
Each picture takes several hours to design and build to produce a textured and tactile piece of work.
The picture is made on dark green felt and also backed with the same dark green felt.
The filling is non allergenic polyester.
Green ribbon has been stitched to the top right hand corner in a loop.
