STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING - I think Daisies would have to be one of my favourite flowers. When travelling overseas in Ireland I am always delighted to see them growing amongst the grass....something I don't see where I live in Brisbane. We have some Native Daisies here in Australia and I love how they put on a show by producing masses of dainty wee flowers.
