Description
Pirate Cat Pincushion Captain Red-Eyes is a completely functional pincushion for sewers or can be used as a cool decorative piece. The majority of this pincushion was hand sewn. Captain red-Eyes, like all my other creations, is handcrafted and made from my own pattern.

<br />The cat pincushion is made of brown felt. His face consists of pins and his feet are brown pom poms. He has a dark red tattered vest and a gray sword holder complete with his sword (made out of a straight pin, beads, and plastic cording). His orange parrot is always perched on his shoulder. He has a felt tan peg leg and a black felt hat with the skull and crossbones on the front. He is firmly stuffed with 100% polyester fiberfill. I also made a sand pouch from cotton fabric and sewed that inside the pincushion which gives him more stability.

<br />He stands approximately 6.25 inches (16 cms) tall and measures approximately 10.75 inches (27.25 cms) around the belly.
