Description
This knitted uterus comes with its own placenta. The uterus measures approx. 11" from cuff/cervix to top, and is 8.5" at its widest point. The cuff is approx. 4" unstretched. Used as a teaching aid in ante-natal classes, this shows how the cervix opens during labour.

The placenta is lightly stuffed with a red side as the side that is attached to the wall of the uterus. The other side has an umbilical cord attached. The placenta attaches to the uterus with velcro and there is another small piece of velcro at the end of the cord to use to attach the cord to a doll. If you dont' want this piece of velcro, just let me know. The placenta measures approx. 4 1/4" across and 1 1/4" thick. the cord is approx. 12" long but this will vary depending on how many twists get sewn into it.
