Pompom tea cosy fun knit teapot cozy blue striped hand dyed merino
<br />After good sales at a recent craft fair I realise I have no tea cosies left at all - what a great excuse to design some more!
<br />
<br />This one is a functional cozy to keep your teapot (and therefore your tea) warm longer - great for taking outside.
<br />
<br />I hand knitted it in stocking stitch (stockinette) with a narrow ribbed edge. I used my hand dyed merino wool in random bright stripe and added a traditional (and currently trendy) pompom from the same yarn, just for fun!
<br />
<br />Tea cosy measures 7.25 inches by 7.75 inches when flat - and it is stretchy. My pictures show it on two different sizes of pot.
