Pompom Tea Cosy fun knit vegan striped burgundy red and sparkly white by SpinningStreak
<br />I adapted this from a vintage pattern from the 1940s. It is a traditional design with a modern twist - dark burgundy red, teamed with a bright snowy white, flecked with a subtle sparkle. It is finished with a fluffy fat border of a toning high quality eyelash yarn.
<br />This construction produces a thick, double fabric so this one is a functional cozy to keep your tea warm for longer - great for taking outside
<br />I hand knitted it in stocking stitch (stockinette) with vertical striped sections. I used a vegan acrylic yarn for the stripes and I added a generous two toned pompom from the same yarns, just for fun!

<br />Tea cosy measures 7.5 inches by 9.5 inches when flat - and it is stretchy.
