Pompom Tea Cosy fun knit vegan striped bright red and speckled green by SpinningStreak

<br />I adapted this from a vintage pattern from the 1940s. It is a traditional design with a modern twist - bright red, teamed with a flecked, variegated green.. This construction produces a thick, double fabric so this one is a functional cozy to keep your tea warm for longer - great for taking outside

<br />I hand knitted it in stocking stitch (stockinette) with vertical striped sections. I used a vegan acrylic yarn for the stripes and I added a generous two toned pompom from the same yarns, just for fun!

<br />Tea cosy measures 7 inches by 8.5 inches when flat - and it is stretchy.
