Description
I have been making miniature bears since 1982 - originally they were to fit inside Mama Bears pocket of my Topsy-Turvy doll "Goldilocks". Then my oldest daughter asked me to make one out of calico for a friends gift. A friend asked me to make some out of her bridesmaids fabric for gifts - soon I was making bears out of all my quilting calico's!

<br />This little purple bear is about 3.5" tall sitting down, which he can do nicely on his own. This little guy took about four hours to make - when I am in full baby bear mode, my room is surrounded by little legs and arms and torso's. these are so much fun to make - the pattern is the same, but they all come out different, depending on how the fabric stretches when stuffing.
