Description
LAND OF LIBERTY is a Twisted Sticks original design.

<br />I used the highest quality fabrics, thread and batting in this delightful wall hanging. Celebrating our freedom, this wall hanging depicts symbols of our great nation.
<br />
<br />Deep reds, white and blues are one of my favorite color combinations. I used a Moda panel and cut the blocks apart and set them into a pleasing design along with a log cabin block. I also cut some of the designs out, i.e. Uncle Sam and the heart and drum and machine appliqued them to make a more pleasing arrangement.
<br />
<br />The Land of Liberty block background in completely filled in with hand stitched echo quilting. The Lady Liberty block is hand quilted in a spiral pattern. I hand quilted around the flower pot to make it stand out more from the background. Other areas are machine quilted.
