Raw Citrine Necklace, Natural Stone Jewelry, by cindylouwho2

This chunk of raw citrine reminds me of a bright sunny day (hence the title). The necklace's stone is unfaceted, a natural cut. The yellow colour varies throughout the crystal. I designed the pendant with a simple hand wrapped bail (in sterling silver) to complement the natural look.

<br />Citrine is a type of quartz, usually heated to bring out the yellow hue. These stones are not dyed, unlike many pieces of yellow quartz you see. Citrine is also a birthstone for November.
