Red Agate Donut Southwest Metalwork Pendant with by lunedesigns

Product Description:

For this pendant, I created a triangular pinch bail (texturing it with a 1959 British half crown coin), which I attached to the rest of the necklace with a hammered toggle bar (textured with a 1963 British two shilling coin). I added a couple of my headpin rosettes to the triangular portion for a little more interest. I chose a beat up coin (blackened and worn smooth with age) from my coin collection, and spruced it up with both a traditional verdigris patina and dabs of Ranger opaque patina inks, and hung it from the stone. I created the remainder of the necklace from hammered copper bars embellished with tiny turquoise lampwork spacers by Meital (Etsy), and buttery soft round leather cord in chocolate brown accented with more of my hand-forged copper components. A little carved oval of carnelian dangles from the very end of the necklace.
