Product Description:

For a unique gift, why not choose this wild berry leaf cast in sterling silver from a real leaf?
I picked it on my property in Michigan because I liked the strong vein pattern.
To cast it into a ring, I added wax to the back and melted on a shank made of wax wire. Then I made a plaster mold and put in a burnout oven where the wax melted and burned away. Next, I put the mold in a casting machine that melted the sterling and flung it into the mold.
Finally, I added a liver of sulfur patina to really bring out the vein pattern.
