This bag has handy pouches at either side to take a folding umbrella or a slim drink bottle.I took this idea from a bag I'd had for years, that was sold as a wine bag, but the pockets were just the right size for my umbrella.
This unlined bag is cavernous! Its 18x18 inches square with a 5 inch gusset. It has 2 inch wide straps for comfort. You can get a decent sized lap-top inside and still have room for files and folders. I would use to carry more bulk than weight though!
It folds quite small when not in use, you can carry it in your handbag and use it whenever you need extra space for last minute shopping.
