Slouchy beanie hat, green hat, luxury Rowan yarn, soft knit
<br />This is a simple slouchy beanie hat hand knitted from a beautiful high quality vintage Rowan yarn - the original kidsilk. This is a 4 ply weight, not the current lace weight known as kidsilk haze. The colour is very striking - a clear emerald green but rather subtle. It is very slightly variegated and so avoids the hard, flat solid look. Rather classy!
<br />I consulted my fashion style gurus on this one!.They said SLOUCHY and RIDGES - so here it is!
<br />It is knitted in stocking stitch (stockinette) with a short rib section at the base.
<br />The hat measures 11 inches from top to bottom with the brim rolled down and 19 inches at its unstretched (but stretchy) brim.
