Description
This one is a functional cozy to keep your teapot (and therefore your tea) warm longer - great for taking outside.
<br />I hand knitted the body of this one in a striped pattern from a pure merino wool I hand dyed in chilli pepper red and ochre yellow. The top is knitted from a merino and a flecked wool mix yarn that I plied together on my wheel. I think the design is bold enough not to need further decoration - this also keeps the costs down.
<br />This small tea cosy measures 6 inches by 7.5 inches when flat - and it is stretchy. My pictures show it on a classic 4 cup and also (last 2 images) on a tiny 2 cup one, where it is a little big.
