Product Description:

Lovely and unique horse earrings of semi-precious stones -- hand-carved snowflake obsidian. The dangle is made of Swarovski dark gray pearls and pale gray roundel crystals. Closed-back ear wires are also brass. 1 1/2-inch drop.

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. The inclusion of small, white, radially clustered crystals of cristobalite in the black glass produce a blotchy or snowflake pattern (snowflake obsidian). Native American people traded obsidian throughout the Americas.

These earrings are mostly shades of black and white.
