Product Description:

Alpaca merino sock yarn, hand painted, blue, pink,purple by SpinningStreak The base yarn for this is 50% merino, 25% fine alpaca and 25% acrylic for strength. This one is a lovely soft, squishy fine knitting yarn, recommended needle size 3mm for socks, though you could use a larger needle size for lace. (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge). I hand dyed this one by injecting the dyes into the ball and allowing them to blend. This is for those of you who love unique socks, but tend towards the sophisticated rather than the wild side!
