Sock yarn hand painted merino 100g blue turquoise yellow green The base yarn for this is 75% merino wool and 25% acrylic sock yarn weight. The yarn is beautifully soft when knitted up. I hand painted this one in several shades of blue and yellow - which, of course, produces green and turquoise areas. The last picture shows the same skein before rewinding.
