Product Description:

This large sterling silver ring was made using an old, green taxidermy glass eye. I set the eye onto a sterling silver backing using a fine silver bezel. I also reinforced the fixing using strong jeweller`s epoxy. The ring band was fabricated from 2 x 4 mm sterling silver D wire. This ring weighs 0.42 oz (12.0 grams) of which 0.26 oz (5.8g) is metal. This ring is large at size Y (UK) or 12.5 (US); it is made to fit a strong, manly finger! The green glass taxidermy eye is slightly abraded around the edges as it is an old, upcycled one. The centre part is clear. I gave the silver an attractive matte finish using pumice powder.
