Sunflower Seed Writing Pen Handmade von designerpens auf Etsy

One-of-a-kind pen made from made from sunflower seed hulls into a material called 'Dakota Burl'. The defined black outlining complements the natural yellow and brown tones of the fibers creating a distinctive pattern. This pen took a lot of extra time and effort since the raw material had small gaps that needed to filled with Cyanoacrylate glue and then be sanded while wet, filling the gaps with a fine sawdust. Once sanded and smoothed, it was finished by adding the gold clip cap and center band.
