This wooden guitar pick is made out of Sycamore Lace Burl. This Burl was cut by myself off of a fallen tree, I also used a part of the burl to make a knife handle for a hunting knife.Sycamore Lace Burl has great character because it has wild, dense grain patterns that allows for so much detail and has the perfect density to be a sturdy guitar pick. (Burl - a knot on the side of a tree containing beautiful dense, grain figuration).
It is sanded down to a very smooth finish to show off its great color. At the top of the pick there are finger grips to keep the pick from slipping while strumming.
Makes for the perfect gift for any music lover or guitar player.
