Product Description:
An ivory wooden tea caddy box with a pewter embossed design of two cups on either side of the word Tea on the lid. All 4 sides feature a swirled design in pewter.The pine box with hinges and clasp has 2 removable dividers and measures 22 cm (8 1/2") x 9 cm (3 1/2")x 7,5 cm (3")
The finish has a smooth feel to it rather than textured.
The pewter is lead-free and safe for using for food.
I emboss each piece individually by hand using only hand tools. Once I've achieved the effect I'm looking for, I fill the raised areas from the back to prevent denting. I then "age" the pewter and polish it to the rich antique silver looking finish before attaching the designs to the box.
