ea cosy, Spring Greens, Yellow, Thick yarn, Red Pompom
This one is a functional cozy to keep your teapot (and therefore your tea) warm longer - great for taking outside.
I hand knitted it in a variation on herringbone stitch from Sirdar Indie (51% wool, 49% acrylic mix) This is a thick, chunky yarn in random variegated shades of green and yellow. I added a big, fat, red curly pompom, just for fun!
Tea cosy measures 8.5 inches by 6.5 inches when flat, not counting the pompom - and it is stretchy. My pictures show it on a standard 6 cup pot.
