This is a Day Angel Crossstitch designed by Teresa Wentzler. If you know her work, you'll know they are all fantasy-based, complex designs with lots of floss blending and metallic threads that shimmer and this one is no exception. This design is a woman in a meadow of flowers in a toga-style gown of pinks, purples and golds with a blue sash. There is metallic thread running through the dress. She has long flowing hair with a wreath in it and the sun over her left shoulder. The border is made up of gold threads, cream Algerian eyelets and satin stitch squares and a wide cream and gold border with blue morning glory ivy twisting through it.

<br />This design has 85 colours of floss & blends along with about 6 different metallic threads and took me hundreds of hours to stitch. It is one of Teresa Wentzler's smaller works, measuring 13.5" x 9" on cream linen fabric.
