The "Ultimate Rag Bag"
Funky Tote Crochet Rug-Rag Bag

This funky tote bag has been crocheted with jute. It has a hardboard base and a strap across the top which fastens with a button on the inside of the bag. The bag features 480 strips of fabric which have been individually cut, threaded and trimmed by hand, rag-rug style.

The jute is from a sustainable source and was manufactured in Scotland. The coloured strips were taken from offcuts of fabric which were on their way for disposal but were rescued by an environmentally conscious seamstress.
