Throw pillow cushion cover hand knit chunky ice blue brown raspberry striped
<br />This is a one of a kind hand knitted cushion cover made from a washable soft warm chunky wool cotton and acrylic mix yarn. I used a plain stocking stitch (stockinette) to show off the self patterning yarn, with a couple of rows in rib to finish it off. The colours are pastel grey blue, raspberry red and mid brown. It is fastened with 5 beautiful toning buttons. These are unusual vintage buttons that I have been saving for the perfect project! They are a very good match - brown, with tweedy flecks and just a very discreet hint of sparkle.

<br />These photos are taken on a 16 inch (42cm) pad but the cover is stretchy.
