The vintage carved mother of pearl pieces reminded me of a sailor's valentine - those encrusted in shell boxes found in New England. I've knotted two lampwork beads (one from Canyon Echoes and the other from Lluvia Brito) on silk. I love the handmade feminine look the silk and mother of pearl give the earrings.
