I emboss each design by hand using only hand tools. Once I am satisfied with the result, I fill the design from the back to prevent it denting. I then “age” the design by using an appropriate patina. When the right amount of blackening is achieved, I then polish the entire design by hand. This time-consuming process produces the antique-silver look of the finished items.
