Unique Cabochon held in Sterling Silver by StonePendants on Etsy

This super glossy stone was discovered years ago by a friend of mine on a white water rafting trip in Montana. He has never found another piece of stone like this one. It lay forgotten in a box in his basement until this past year, when he gave it to me. I cut a small piece off, and I shaped and polished it to reveal this beautiful pattern within.

<br />It is mostly a Jasper with inclusions of Quartz running through it.
<br />It is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall, and 3/4 inch wide.
