Man's/woman's beanie hat blue handspun natural indigo dyed Wensleydale wool chunky texture
<br />This one is special. It is a simple beanie shape that I knitted from yarn I spun from rare breed Wensleydale tops. I dyed the self-plied yarn in an indigo bath.
<br />The colour is actually slightly darker than appears on my monitor - but indigo will change in the light.
<br /> The high quality Wensleydale is lustrous, with a slight halo. The hat is original and fun but also extremely practical - the thick wool is VERY warm and will protect the ears in cold conditions. The beanie could be worn by a man, a woman or a teen.
<br />Ii measures 8.5 inches top to brim and approx. 22 inches circumference at its unstretched (but stretchy) brim.
