Product Description:
Unusual earthenware bowl with a unique textured rim.Handmade bowl, hand throw on a potters wheel with white clay and craking transparent glaze.
There are white stoneware clay shavings springled around the rim and trapped within the cracking glaze when fired.
There is a small spiral pattern inside the bottom of the vessel.
It is very difficult to capture with the camera the beautiful texture and the craking effect under light.
As it has been fired to eathenware it is porous so it will not hold water.
Quite heavy.
Can be used as a decorative piece.
Dimensions: 14cm in diameter and 9.5cm high approximately
