Unusual earthenware bowl with a unique textured rim.

<br />Handmade bowl, hand throw on a potters wheel with white clay and craking transparent glaze.
<br />
<br />There are white stoneware clay shavings springled around the rim and trapped within the cracking glaze when fired.
<br />
<br />There is a small spiral pattern inside the bottom of the vessel.
<br />
<br />It is very difficult to capture with the camera the beautiful texture and the craking effect under light.
<br />
<br />As it has been fired to eathenware it is porous so it will not hold water.
<br />
<br />Quite heavy.
<br />
<br />Can be used as a decorative piece.
<br />
<br />Dimensions: 14cm in diameter and 9.5cm high approximately
